Racial Trauma Education Training for  Senior Leadership & Management 

Training Description: 

This 4-part Racial Trauma Training Series for Management & Senior Leadership consists of 3-hour modules, each focusing on providing management with a better understanding of the individual, communal and systemic causes of Racial Trauma as well as define what Racial Trauma is, its symptoms, legacies, and impacts on people who are Racialized and Black.

The 4-part Racial trauma Employees Wellness Training Series is conducted through presentations, discussions, and small group work. 

Depending on the business needs, these live interactive training series can be offered in-person or online—maximum 20 employees per training series. 

Training Objectives: 

  • Provide management with a fuller understanding of what Racial Trauma is and how it manifests in the workplace

  • Understand the short-term and long-term impacts of Racial Trauma in the lives of people that are Racialized and Black

  • Provide specific strategies and techniques on how to provide collegial support to Racialized  and Black colleagues experiencing (or at risk of experiencing) Racial Trauma at work.

About the Facilitator:

 Nada is a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist, Certified Racial Trauma Clinician with expertise in Racial Trauma, Trauma, Mental Health, anti-Black Racism, Anti-Oppression/ Anti-Racism. One of her passion is supporting management and staff in recognizing that they are catalysts for change. She is experienced and skilled in presenting about Racial Trauma as well as any other mental health training to large and small groups in corporate and non-profit settings.
