About Nada
Compassionate, Culturally Responsive Counselling for Women Navigating Stress, Anxiety and Self-Doubt
Nada Johnson, MSW, RSW supports women who are navigating anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, trauma, and difficult life transitions.
She has particular experience supporting high-achieving Black and racialized women who are balancing professional demands, cultural expectations, systemic pressures, and significant responsibilities—while quietly carrying emotional exhaustion, self-doubt, and chronic stress.
Many of the women Nada provides counselling to are capable, responsible, and deeply resilient, yet feel overwhelmed by the pressure of always having to hold everything together for everyone else.
A Space Where You Don’t Have to Explain Yourself:
For nearly a decade, Nada has supported women experiencing:
-
Burnout and emotional overwhelm
-
Anxiety and chronic overthinking
-
Racialized stress and workplace inequities
-
Family conflict and cultural pressures
-
Major life transitions
-
The lasting impact of trauma
She offers a warm, culturally responsive space where clients can slow down, process their experiences, and reconnect with themselves—without feeling dismissed, misunderstood, or pressured to minimize what they’ve been carrying.
How Nada Works:
Nada’s approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, collaborative, and grounded in deep respect for each client’s lived experience.
