Hi, I’m Nada, a trauma-informed Therapist who works with women healing from abuse including the more quiet and hidden kinds of harm that can happen at work.

If you’re here, maybe you’ve been feeling stressed or hurt by conflict in your workplace. Maybe you’re in a leadership role like a CEO, but still feel like your voice isn’t being heard, or like you’re walking on eggshells around your team or board.
If that sounds like you, I want you to know:
What you’re feeling is valid. And it’s more common than you think.
Conflict at work can take a toll on your self-esteem and your mental health especially when you're trying to stay strong on the outside while feeling overwhelmed on the inside.
Let’s talk about how workplace conflict uniquely affects women, and how I support women especially those in high-pressure roles who are ready to move from survival mode to steady, grounded confidence.
And if any part of this resonates with you, please know that I’d be honored to walk alongside you in it.
💼 The Extra Weight Women Carry at Work

For women, workplace conflict is often tied to gender inequality. Many workplaces are still shaped by old systems that favor men in leadership and expect women to work harder just to be seen as equal (Stamarski & Son Hing, 2015).
Even women in high positions like managers, directors, and CEOs are judged more harshly than men. They're often seen as either “too soft” or “too bossy,” no matter what they do
(Pavlou, 2023).
You might be experiencing:

Being talked over or dismissed in meetings
Having your ideas questioned more than others
Feeling pressure to be “perfect” just to be respected
Being expected to handle conflict without showing emotion
Over time, this kind of stress doesn’t just stay at work. It can make you:
Doubt your own decisions
Feel anxious or avoid speaking up
Carry guilt or shame for things that aren’t your fault
Wonder if you’re the problem (you’re not)
These are normal responses to a harmful environment not signs of weakness.
🌱 How I Help Women Rebuild Their Confidence
You don’t have to carry this alone. Therapy is a space where you can feel safe, be heard, and start to feel like yourself again.
Here’s how I support women through this:
1. A Place to Be Honest: You can say exactly how you feel without being judged or told to “just push through.” This is your space to breathe and be real.
2. Making Sense of What’s Happening: We’ll talk about what’s causing your stress and help you see clearly what’s coming from the workplace, and what you have control over.

3. Rebuilding Your Voice: You still have power. We’ll reconnect with your strengths and help you feel confident setting boundaries, speaking up, and trusting yourself again.
4. Healing Your Inner Critic: If your inner voice has turned harsh, we’ll work on shifting it. One small but powerful step is learning to ask, “What happened to me?” instead of “What’s wrong with me?”
5. Setting Boundaries Without Guilt: You are allowed to rest. You are allowed to say no. And you are allowed to ask for respect without having to explain why.
